Rainy Day… ~ By Daisy

Yucky! I hate rainy days! Phoebe doesn’t like getting wet either. I always try to rub off the water on the carpet or wall; but there’s always still some water left. I went for a walk and got soaked! Next month it will be snowing; but I don’t like snow either. It melts and makes you wet, just like rain. Also, it’s really cold. Phoebe doesn’t think it’s cold though because she has really thick fur while I, on the other hand, have short fur as many pugs do. Sometimes in the winter I wish I was a pekingese which is just like a pug except with long fur. Well, talk to you soon!

Daisy: This halloween was really hot!

Phoebe: I know!

Daisy: Well at least it was fun barking at the trick-or-treaters.

Phoebe: I guess it was for a little bit… but then I got tired.

Daisy: I wasn’t tired. I was really excited.

Phoebe: Of course… young dogs are like that.

Daisy: Oh, well happy halloween to you all!

Halloween is a Week Away ~ By Phoebe

I can’t wait until halloween. There will be tons of people coming to our door which will give me a chance to prove that I’m a good guard dog. Also, I like the candy and all the different scents of people. What a holiday!

Fall Has Begun! ~ By Daisy

Wow I haven’t posted on our blog for almost 6 months! As a pug, I’m happy that I won’t have anymore breathing difficulties now that the hot weather is ending. The leaves are turning red and orange already. How beautiful it looks!

VERY Hot Day ~ By Phoebe

Today it was 80 degrees! Daisy and I got an extra walk and we met Fergis, the neighbor’s bernese mountain dog. Daisy always barks at Fergis and tries to go through the fence Fergis is in. We also met TJ, the other neighbor’s  dog. I don’t know his breed but he looks like this. Daisy and I were panting like crazy. We didn’t get a whole walk, it was a very short walk. When we got home, Daisy and I drank water with ice-cubes in it.

I found a real bone in the backyard! ~ By Daisy

Jessica’s dad took me out for a bathroom break in the backyard  and as I was sniffing around in their backyard forest, I found a real bone! It was as big as the black part on my face! I picked it up and carried it around with me; it was so cool I wanted to bring it inside to show everyone. It looked like the shoulderblade on a fox or coyote. Jessica’s dad through the bone back into the woods though.

Sleeping… And an Extra Walk ~ By Phoebe

Today I slept most of the day like I usually do. I told Daisy not to run off and that Jessica was inside, but that didn’t stop her. Well a few minutes after Daisy left, Jessica and her mom took me out to help look for Daisy; so I got an extra walk. Back to sleeping…

I Run Away ~ By Daisy

Today I was looking around for Jessica one of my owners. I didn’t know where she went. Then I saw that the door to my deck was open so I thought she might be there. I walked out. It was a beautiful day; very sunny. I thought she may have went for a walk outside. So I walked down the stairs of the deck into my backyard. I walked onto the sidewalk into the next door neighbors’ yard. I met the neighbor and waited in their front yard. Suddenly I saw Jessica come over carrying my harness and leash in her hand. She called my name and I ran over to her. She slipped the harness over my neck and back. So home I went. Boy, it was hot! I drank some water as soon as I got home.  Jessica gave me an ice-cube which I enjoyed licking. What an exciting day!
